These yoga classes consist of yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), relaxation and meditation.
They are open to all levels, including beginners. 

Please note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, yoga equipment will NOT be provided. Please bring your own yoga mats, blankets, etc.

Classes run twice a week during term time:

  • MONDAY CLASS from 7pm to 8.30pm
  • TUESDAY CLASS from 10am to 11.30am

The Autumn 2020 Term will run from 7th September until 15th December 2020. 
There will be no class on the 26th and 27th October for Half Term. 

The class costs £13 per class when paid in a block or £15 when paying each time. Please contact Billy before coming to the class to check whether there is space. Contactless payment is available.

Billy Doyle is a qualified and experienced yoga teacher. He has studied with many teachers in a wide variety of approaches. He was introduced to Yoga in the Kashmir tradition by Jean Klein, with whom he worked closely for many years.

Billy runs retreats in various parts of UK and abroad. He is author of two books: Yoga in the Kashmir Tradition: the art of listening and The Mirage of Separation, a collection of poems written from a non-duality perspective.

In this approach to yoga we emphasize listening to the body. We allow the sensation of the body to awaken and come alive. We live moment to moment in the sensation, avoiding all mechanical movement. Each moment the body is new.

This allows a re-orchestration of our energy and instead of the old impression of the body as dull, heavy and contracted, we discover it to be light, flexible and expanded in space.

When we approach the postures and breathing in this way they have a completely different quality. The effect is to bring about a deep relaxation of the body-mind, free of patterns and restrictions, and to open us to deeper levels of awareness. It brings us to know ourselves in silence.
