The first of a series of showcases from The Floor Presents. Known for their incredible vocals, eclectic style, intelligent producing and song writing – This first show presents Feeo, Max Stone and Luke Burr.
The show is an intimate and exclusively stripped back version of these artists that come from a mix of funk, jazz, folk, reggae, pop, soul and blues. The Floor empowers creators and fans to engage in new ways. The Floor also curates streamed, physical and hybrid events like this one.
Feeo
Reared on a combination of Jazz, Folk, Reggae, and the 2002 Ibiza soundtrack, Oxford producer and songwriter, big beats and stacked vocal harmonies early on.
Her first cuts channelling this blend of styles were quick to turn heads, as she found herself organically involved in the the burgeoning London neo-jazz scene.
Luke Burr
Hailing from Essex, Luke found his love for music through listening to his father's old soul records and being inspired by the likes of Stevie Wonder and Donna Hathaway. He has worked and toured with some huge industry names, helping to establish his spellbinding signature sound including being hand picked as the main male vocalist on tour with Rudamental.
With a UK tour to be announced and a beautiful project on the way, starting with the first single '4am' (feat. Olivia Nelson), 2021 is set to be a big one for Luke.
Max Stone
Max has been performing across the UK since 2013 at venues including The Jazz Cafe, The Bedford and the Roundhouse. In 2015, Max joined the X-Factor where he had a chance to connect with the British public, making it to the fourth week of shows by adding his own twist to iconic tracks such as 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'.
Having built a foundation for his musicality, Max is taking his own eclectic style derived from his love for Soul, Blues, Funk and Jazz to accentuate his story-telling. His songs range from the anxieties of everyday life to the joy of love and everything in-between.
