Susan Black is a singer / songwriter who has performed in many West End theatres, including The London Palladium, the London Coliseum and the Royal Albert Hall. She has shared the stage with Shirley Bassey and Beverly Knight and opened for Toyah Wilcox, the late Robin Gibb and for a Q & A with Sylvester Stallone at Manchester Arena. Earlier in her career, Susan created a one woman show with original material which won her an award at The Edinburgh Festival. Subsequently, Susan appeared many times on the late Paul O’Grady’s 'Lily Savage Theatre Shows,' where she featured some Edith Piaf songs in her repertoire. It was the audience’s overwhelming response to these songs that inspired Susan to learn more about Edith’s life and that eventually led to The Piaf Story.
