From 4 January, our Upper Gallery is the venue for Peace on Paper, a collection of pen and pencil drawings by Zurab Gogidze. Inspired by his favourite spot in Highgate Cemetery - where he works as a gardener and gravedigger's assistant - the exhibition includes portraits and figure studies, features of the cemetery, and imaginary mysterious realms of the Moon and shadow, of mermaids and fishermen, of the sea and sky, of calm and of peace.
Zurab will be invigilating at the venue on Saturday 7 and Sunday 29 January, which means he will be present during the opening hours and is happy to chat with any interested visitor.
Friends, colleagues, neighbours and strangers - all equally welcome!
