Rhapsodic Roots presents an evening of klezmer music
Overview
Performers

Rhapsodic Roots presents a vibrant evening of klezmer music, blending traditional roots with contemporary expression in a rich and lively performance.

Following a sold-out Hanukkah concert in a North London synagogue, the ensemble brings a dynamic programme to Highgate, performed as a continuous one-hour set.

Klezmer, the celebratory folk music of Eastern European Jewish communities, is known for its expressive melodies and lively dance rhythms. Rhapsodic Roots’ programme features a mix of well-known tunes and original arrangements, some of which were enthusiastically received by audiences at their previous performance.

The concert offers an accessible introduction to the style, as well as something familiar for those who already enjoy the repertoire.
