A Queer Georgian Drag Ball
Overview
Performers

Join us for the grand finale of the first annual Queer Georgian Social Season as we take you back to a time when queers were more visible and accepted than you thought.

The evening will feature performances by 'Les Bougies Baroques’ – as drag queens, kings, and families take to the runway to walk various categories while accompanied by both period music and contemporary repertoire played on period instruments.

Everyone is welcome. All you are required to do is leave your preconceptions at the door, help yourself to some Georgian punch from the bar and come as yourself – with or without bells on!

The Queer Georgian Social Season is conceived & curated by Ian Peter Bugeja of 'Les Bougies Baroques' & Mark Francis-Vasey of Burgh House, where the rest of the season has taken place.

COVID-19 precautions

Although the government has lifted many of the requirements around COVID-19 isolation rules, we are aware that many of our visitors are vulnerable and we want everyone to feel safe and comfortable. As such, we are continuing to provide hand sanitiser at our entrances, keep windows open to increase ventilation where possible, and maintaining our reduced capacity of 80%. As audience members, we ask that you do not attend if you are showing symptoms or are testing positive, and that you wear a face covering if possible. If you have any concerns, please contact us on 020 8348 8716 and we will do our best to accommodate you.
