Join Topsie, Tim, and special guest Sister Mary for an outdoor extravaganza on our Tea Lawn!

West-End Drag Diva Topsie Redfern and cabaret supremo Tim Mcarthur are back for an evening of great songs, camp favourites and a splash of ‘dangerous cabaret’. And as if that wasn't enough, they'll be joined by special guest Sister Mary, back from her 5-week tour of the United States! Bring a picnic, grab a glass of wine from the bar and take your place in our magical garden for a raunchy and riotous evening.

He has performed his solo show at Feinstein's 54 Below on Broadway in NYC, The Tada Theatre in NYC, Drews in Chicago and the London Hippodrome and The Purcell Room. Critic’s Choice and "Show- stopping Form" - The Times

"Pick of the Day" -  New York Times

Topsie Redfern - Topsie is classy whirlwind of wit, warmth and camp. A delicious cabaret cocktail of drag, West-End theatre and let-your-hair-down fun. Nathan Kiley - the man inside Topsie - has a long list of theatre credits which include starring in West End musical "Chicago" as Mary Sunshine, performing in a House Music Opera at London's Young Vic Theatre and most recently in Punchdrunk Theatre Company's 2022 hit London Show  "The Burnt City". Expect an intoxicating mixture of cabaret, sing-alongs, flirty fun and dancing. Topsie will sweep everyone along for the ride, lubricating them with her charm and amazing vocals.

Booking information

This performance will take place on the Tea Lawn at the back of Lauderdale House.

If you would like to sit together, please book together, as spaces will be assigned based on your order.

Chairs will not be provided so please bring either a picnic blanket or a chair to make yourself comfortable. Audience members with chairs will be seated behind those on the ground to make sure that everyone has a good view. If you are booking as a group, the whole group will need to be on chairs or on blankets, rather than a mixture of the two.

We have a limited number of picnic tables and benches (see map below) available as group tickets – book these early to avoid disappointment.

If you have a disability or any special requirements please get in touch with us so that we can best accommodate you.

Weather

The performance will continue regardless of the weather unless unsafe. Please plan for all eventualities and remember to bring a waterproof layer and a warm jumper. We prefer waterproofs to umbrellas because umbrellas can obstruct views. Don’t forget that if you are on a blanket the ground may be wet so make sure you have a blanket with a waterproof side or bring aplastic sheet. There are no refunds for shows cancelled due to the weather.

Food and Drink

The cafe/bar will be open selling light snacks and drinks before the performance starts and during the interval.

You are also welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy on the Tea Lawn as you watch the performance.
