Andrew Macdonald Exhibition
Overview

Opening Dates & Hours

Andrew MacDonald formally trained as a classical violinist, combining a career as a professional performer alongside a successful teaching practice. In 2015 his world changed, after being haunted by a photograph taken during the US protests over police brutality towards African Americans. The buying of a canvas to express how he felt led to him crossing over to the painting world to explore what it means to be human.

This is Andrew’s first solo exhibition - a combination of his private collection and commissioned work - and reflects a continual fascination with who we are, how we feel, what our history etches onto our features, and our responses and relationship to the world around us.

Andrew works to commission and can be contacted via his website or his new Instagram. You can also call him on 07952 418340.
