Families having fun at Lauderdale House
Overview

Our family workshops are designed to share the history of Lauderdale House!

These relaxed, drop-in workshops are perfect for children aged 4 - 10 and include tactile and sensory activities, as well as crafts related to specific periods in Lauderdale House’s history. For September, we’re celebrating our local landmarks – you’ll get to learn about all the amazing buildings that surround us and sketch them to create a collaborative city-scape collage. You’ll also have the chance to discover the architecture of Lauderdale House, from our Tudor beams and fireplaces, to our Georgian ceiling décor – there’s almost 500 years to explore!

Please note all children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

Please feel free to give us a call on 0208 348 8716 or to email our Education Team if you have any questions.

Lauderdale House is delighted to offer this September workshop as part of the Open House Festival, a London-wide festival that opens up and celebrates the city’s architecture, special sites and neighbourhoods.

Lauderdale House is a registered charity (275502), and we receive no regular government nor council funding. We rely on donations and grants to preserve this unique heritage building and run our free programme, including our Fresh youth collective, Free Lunchtime concerts, Sunday Fun-Day Family workshops and more.

If you can, please consider donating below to allow us to continue to expand our free programme.
