Serenata Presents: Setting the Bard

Serenata presents an eclectic programme of solo songs, duets and ensemble items set to Shakespeare’s texts by a range of both familiar and lesser-known composers.

The works featured range from the late Classical music of Schubert to the mid twentieth century compositions of American film composers.  With songs, duets, quartets, a cappella ensembles and even a concert gallop for piano duet featured amongst the programme items, there’s something for everyone to appreciate and enjoy.
