Schubertiade
Overview
Performers
Programme

The members of Concert Party invite you to their annual Schubertiade in the beautiful, intimate setting of Lauderdale House. Gather round the piano with us to celebrate the life and music of Franz Schubert (31st January 1797—19 November 1828).

As in Schubert’s own day, Concert Party’s singers and instrumentalists will perform a varied programme of lieder, chamber music, and piano works interspersed with poetry and readings. It will be an evening filled with song and instrumental music including memorable works such as The Shepherd on the Rock for soprano, clarinet and piano and the Fantasy in F minor for piano duet.
