Listen to Sian Berry and other local climate activists speak about what we can do locally to create positive change. Bring a cushion/rug and refreshments to the Tea Lawn for a socially-distanced live event.
Speakers will include:
- A young local climate activist - what do the younger generation think about the state of the planet?
- Sian Berry, Green London Assembly Member. What is happening in London?
- Maggy Meade-King, Highgate Neighbourhood Forum. The walking/cycling routes project
- A representative of the The Parkland Walk Wildlife Nature Trail
- Sydney Charles (en10ergy) & Tunuja Pandit (PUNL), Local Community Solar
- Georgia Elliot Smith, Incinerating our Waste and taking the Government to Court
- Jane Leggett, Extinction Rebellion (XR)
This will be a Covid safe event, so registrations will be for a maximum of 6 people. The lawn is clearly marked with space for each 2 people and the stewards will allocate a safe place per party.
