Part of Camden Summer University 2026, we are hosting a free craft workshop for young people aged 14-19: ‘Myths & Legends Clay Project’.
Camden Summer University provides free courses for young people who study or live in Camden across the summer holidays. At Lauderdale House, we have run fashion design and photography workshops in the past, which offer the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and make beautiful creations. For Summer 2026 we are running:
‘Myths & Legends Clay Project’
Working with classicist and potter Charlie, you’ll spend three days learning how to create ancient pottery inspired by Roman myths and legends. You’ll learn how to create a Roman ‘Ware’ (pot) as well as lots of mythological creatures from the time. All clay and sculpting tools will be provided. Please note we will not be doing wheel work.
The sessions run from 10.30am to 3pm with an hour for lunch, but please note that lunch is not provided.
