Janine Clements & Lauderdale House
Overview
Performers

It is some time since Janine entertained at Lauderdale and she is excited to be back. Performing a selection of songs, poems and readings on the theme of ‘The Moon’, she will be joined at this afternoon concert by Lauderdale House stalwart, Stephen Hose on piano and the amazing Mark Perry on trumpet, among others.

The concert will be cabaret-style with a programme full of jazz standards, show songs and a few other rogue tunes.

Janine currently divides her time between running a social club for adults with learning and other disabilities, teaching, and working a ‘proper job’ as an office administer at a London-based charity.  As an actress she has performed all over Britain, in fringe and mainstream productions, and has played jazz gigs and show-song concerts both nationally and internationally (Auckland and New York being amongst her favourites). Janine has recorded a album - a selection of jazz standards, recorded at the Angel Studios - and been involved in many voice-overs for film, radio and television.
