She continues to set the standard for sophisticated rich-toned interpretations of the great standard composers such Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, George & Ira, George Gershwin Irving Berlin, Michel Legrand and Stephen Sondheim. Few understand and express the repertoire with such dynamic simplicity.
