Fleas and Cheese

In honour of Heritage Weekend, this interactive fun one-man show by Tales of the Plague brings the history behind the plague and the Great Fire of London to life. During the Great Plague portion children will be introduced to Alfie, a 17th Century peasant, and his pet rat, Robert Watts. For the Great Fire of London portion we have pomposity personified known as Samuel Pepys. Suitable for 5 to 11-year-olds.

'An excellent use of costumes and props helped immerse the children and kept them completely engaged. A brilliant way to get the children excited about history!'

- Mr Peters from Maryland Primary School, Stratford
