The cafe at Lauderdale House is now open as a takeaway Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm.

The galleries remain closed to the general public for the time-being.  However, we are hiring them out for permitted activities such as recording, filming, rehearsing, meetings and training.

We are also doing showrounds for weddings, parties and life celebrations later in the year or 2021.

While we are closed to the public, we have been finding alternative ways to support all who use the House. Do have a look at the Lockdown Exhibitions and Lockdown music sections in the What's On section for links to Youtube recordings of interviews with artists and photographers, concerts and even a behind the scenes tour of the House.

We are also delighted that a grant from the local Lady Gould's Charity has enabled us to 'reactivate' our outreach programme and we have been running our youth group online as well as supporting local schools.

Lauderdale House is a charity that aims to brings arts and education to all whilst preserving a truly unique heritage space. We have no core funding and all of our income is dependent on the House being open – ticket sales, class enrolments and hire fees for weddings, parties and other social events. With the House closed we have no income.

We understand that all of our audience members have completely different financial circumstances and that now is an uncertain time for us all.  However, if you feel there is anything you can donate to our charitable work at this time please do support us. If you didn’t know that we were a charity and you want to find out more, please take a look at our community section.

If you need to contact the Lauderdale House team, please email enquiries@lauderdale.org.uk .  You can also call 020 8348 8716, but please be aware we are working with a reduced staff, so there is not always someone to answer. You are welcome to leave a message and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, follow the Government advice and stay safe.
